Chiropractic and Extremity Adjustments

Learn More

All joints are susceptible to rigidity, especially when soft tissue injury induces the body to protect the area by restricting range of motion. Though spinal adjustments are most generally applicable to increasing flexibility in the back, studies have also shown a decrease in muscle tension and pain of the surrounding tissues.

Rehabilitation Exercises

Kinesio/ Athletic Taping can be used to treat sports and non-sports injuries, including shin splints, plantar fasciitis, runner’s knee and back pain. Meet the doctor

Dr. Espinoza (Eddie), is a Bay Area native that has been practicing sports chiropractic for the past 3 years. With a gymnastics background from his childhood, he became interested in trying Crossfit about the same time he started his chiropractic practice and instantly fell in love. About a year and a half ago, he moved his practice from San Ramon to Berkeley to pursue a more sports focused clinic and patient base. This was also the start of joining the Grassroots family at it’s Berkeley location. Working with everyday athletes is why he pursued this profession making this opportunity a perfect collaboration and setting.
